About Course Menu

Our highly acclaimed Herbal Tea Pairing Event will return this autumn for one day only on October 6. At Fauchon Hotel Kyoto, we are committed to a sustainability initiative in which tea leaves discarded each day are mixed into compost to cultivate sustainable herbs at Iri Farm in Shiga. This time, we will offer a two-part experience: a lunch featuring non-alcoholic pairings centered on traditional Japanese herbs, and a dinner with pairings including cocktails made with herbs. The dining venue will also feature actual herbs grown in sustainable soil-free planters, and we invite you to fully enjoy dishes enhanced with the fresh aroma and color of freshly picked herbs.

Enjoy a dining experience featuring herb teas from Iiri Farm, where herbs are cultivated with a shared commitment to excellence alongside the hotel, as well as FAUCHON tea blended by FAUCHON Hotel Kyoto Grand Tea Master Yoshikawa, each carefully paired with dishes expertly prepared by our chef and accompanied by detailed explanations.
