About Course Menu

Hyogo faces the Sea of Japan to the north and the Seto Inland Sea to the south, and is blessed with such abundant nature that it is often called a "miniature of Japan." In the Edo period, the region was known as the Five Provinces of Hyogo, and today Hyogo remains a treasure trove of fine flavors: crab and seafood from the Sea of Japan coast, Tajima beef from Tajima, mountain delicacies such as Tanba chestnuts, matsutake mushrooms, black soybeans, and wild yam, Awaji onions, seafood from Harima, livestock products from Settsu including Kobe beef, and the cultivation of pears, grapes, and peaches. This course begins with seasonal appetizers and continues with soups featuring richly flavored vegetables and fruits, seasonal vegetables, a main dish of Japanese Black beef, and a special dessert by our pastry chef, all to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
