Sushi Shimaya Okita is located just a short walk from Soshigaya-Okura Station. We are a small restaurant with 5 to 6 counter seats and one table. The restaurant's name combines the long-standing local liquor store Shimaya, which has been in Soshigaya-Okura for three generations, with the proprietor's name, Okita. Our concept is to create a place beloved by locals over the years. We offer carefully crafted nigiri sushi, including hikarimono (silver-skinned fish). We can also arrange courses to suit our customers' preferences. We look forward to welcoming you.
