The proprietor, Yuji Kobayashi, hails from Rumoi City. Rumoi City is a central city within the Rumoi Subprefecture in the northwest part of Hokkaido, and is also midway along the Japan Sea Ororon Line (Otaru to Wakkanai City). As a fishing city facing the Sea of Japan, Rumoi City is a treasure trove of foodstuffs, including seafood for all four seasons. Due to its proximity to Sapporo City, ingredients can be procured in a fresh state. The ingredients selected by the proprietor, Yuji Kobayashi, who knows the goodness of Rumoi inside and out, are all wonderful items that make you feel each of the four seasons.
