■Welcome Drink: One glass of Yamaguchi local sake will be served. (From 7月 to 9月, chilled hirezake is also available.) *We can also substitute it with another drink upon request. Shunpanro, located in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, became the first officially licensed restaurant in Japan to serve fugu cuisine in 1888, by authorization of Japan’s first Prime Minister, Hirobumi Ito. Since then, you can enjoy the traditional flavors and masterful techniques passed down through the years at our Tokyo restaurant. For our usuzukuri, we carefully assess the quality of each individual fuku to bring out its exquisite flavor and texture, and artfully arrange it in the form of a large chrysanthemum blossom on fine Arita and Old Imari porcelain. This plan lets you fully enjoy torafugu, and includes our specialty Shirako of Torafugu and Yamaguchi local sake. *When using a private room, a room charge of 5500円 per room will apply.
