(From July to September, chilled grilled fin sake is also available.) *We can also accommodate substitutions for other drinks. Shunpanro, located in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, became Japan’s first officially licensed restaurant to serve fugu cuisine in 1888, authorized by Japan’s first Prime Minister, Hirobumi Ito. Since then, guests have enjoyed its traditional flavors and masterful techniques, now carried on at our Tokyo restaurant. For our usu-zukuri, each fuku is carefully assessed to bring out the ideal flavor and texture, then artfully arranged in the form of a large chrysanthemum blossom on fine Arita and Old Imari porcelain. This is a comprehensive torafugu plan featuring our specialty Shirako of Torafugu, grilled fugu, and Yamaguchi local sake. *Please note that a private room charge of 5500 yen per room applies when using a private room.
