■Welcome Drink: We will serve one glass of local Yamaguchi sake. (From 7月~9月, chilled hirezake is also available.) *We can also substitute it with another drink upon request. Shunpanro, located in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, became the first restaurant in Japan officially licensed to serve pufferfish cuisine in 1888 by Japan’s first Prime Minister, Hirobumi Ito. Since then, guests have been able to enjoy this long-inherited traditional flavor and masterful culinary craftsmanship at our Tokyo restaurant. For our usuzukuri, we carefully assess the quality of each individual pufferfish to bring out its exquisite flavor and texture, and present it in the form of a large chrysanthemum blossom on fine Arita and Old Imari porcelain. This is a plan for fully enjoying torafugu, complete with our specialty shirako of torafugu and local Yamaguchi sake. *When using a private room, a room charge of 5500円 per room will apply.
