"Kappo Takotsubo" is a traditional kappo restaurant in Hiroshima with a history of over 135 years. We offer dishes that make the most of the fresh fruits of the sea from the Seto Inland Sea, cherishing the natural flavors of the ingredients. Our signature dishes, "Hitsumushi" (conger eel and eel rice) and "Sujiniku no Miso Den" (beef tendon with miso), are beloved by many of our patrons. Additionally, we serve each dish with care, sharing stories of the owner-selected ingredients and culinary commitments, creating an experience akin to the "Takotsubo Theater."
