About Course Menu

This establishment is managed by Tada Iwamoto, the third-generation owner of "Ginza Candle," a Western-style restaurant founded in 1950. Driven by a desire to promote and celebrate Japan's Western-style cuisine, the owner established the Japan Western Cuisine Association. The restaurant offers an 8 to 10-dish course centered around Western cuisine, resembling an adult's "kids' meal." Included in the course is the signature dish "The Original! The World's Tastiest Chicken Basket," first served in Japan and beloved by Yukio Mishima and Yasunari Kawabata, with Akihiro Miwa claiming it to be "the most delicious in the universe." Another popular dish from the original Ginza Candle, "1950's Shrimp Macaroni Gratin," features a béchamel sauce made with Echire butter and Hokkaido's Haruyutaka wheat, blending nostalgia with modern flavors. Please savor this supreme experience that will positively transform your perception of Western cuisine.
